It will be a futile attempt if I start penning down the beauty of Taj Mahal, as words would fail miserably to ever describe the beauty of this architectural masterpiece built by Shahjahan the Mughal King, as a symbol of his eternal love for his begum, Mumtaz Mahal.

I wouldn’t be wrong in saying that Taj is one of the most photographed monuments in the world, and has been shown in its glory by maybe millions of people till date.

Here is my humble attempt to add my little bit by glorifying the brilliant flooring patterns, surrounding landscape and built forms that are often missed by most, mesmerised by the Taj itself.

Hope you enjoy the slightly distorted perspective here 🙂

Waking up early and rushing to catch the sunrise at Taj with my friend Gary, who had flown himself into India just the prior day added a lot of excitement to the trip.

This was Gary’s first experience of seeing life in India so up close and it probably made him understand the real meaning of phrases like ‘comedy of errors’ ‘order in disorder’ ‘riot of colours’ ‘safety is a just a state of mind’ and lastly GOD EXISTS 🙂
